Fatigue4Light consortium celebrate the second year of the project in Torino
The Fatigue4Light consortium met to celebrate the 3rd General Assembly on 16 – 17 of February in Politecnico di Torino facilities (Torino, Italy).
During the meeting, project’s partners reviewed all the work done in each of the Work Packages, the main goals and results achieved during the two years of project’s execution and set up the next steps and milestones to be achieved in the upcoming months of Fatigue4Light.
The meeting also included two a tour to the facilities of MW, the steel wheels division of the CLN Group, and also to the Stellantis’ CRF research centre’s labs.
The Fatigue4Light project, which is starting its last year execution, is developing new tests and computer simulation methods to better estimate the fatigue life of chassis components and to select the optimal materials for lighter vehicle chassis.
