Eurecat disseminates Fatigue4Light during a webinar on Life Cycle Assessment applications to the automotive industry
The Fatigue4Light project was presented during the webinar “Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and its application to the automotive sector” organised by FLAMINGo and ALMA, two of the EnLight EVs cluster projects, and celebrated last 9th of February.
The workshop had the objective to bring together different European projects to present their LCA approaches, share common challenges and discuss about possible innovative and future solutions.
Violeta Vargas, advanced researcher at the Waste, Energy and Environmental Impact Unit of Eurecat, attended the session and delivered the presentation “Fatigue4Light project and strategy on LCA”. During her intervention, she explained the eco-design methodology developed by Eurecat and applied within the project and introduced some of the results achieved in the framework of Life Cycle Assessment.
The webinar also included the presentation of FLAMINGo, ALMA, REVOLUTION and LEVIS, the other four EnLight EVs cluster projects, as well as the SALEMA project.
About the EnLight EVs Cluster
The EnLight EVs cluster, in which Fatigue4Light is taking part, brings together EU-funded R&D projects which are developing innovative solutions, tested in industrial pilots, that can be rapidly applied in the automotive market to reduce Electric Vehicles’ weight, while considering structural integrity, passengers’ safety, and sustainability, through eco-design and circular practices.
