Stellantis CRF presents Fatigue4Light during a workshop on innovative materials for sustainable transport
The Fatigue4Light project was presented during the workshop “Innovative materials and processes for sustainable transport” organised by AQM (Centro Servizi Tecnici alle Imprese) and Streparava last 24th of May in Italy.
The workshop, celebrated in AQM plant, had the objective to discuss about components, innovative materials and new processes related to weight reduction that allow high performance while remaining compliant with the safety specifications and standards required.
Michele Tedesco, Global responsible for metals and anticorrosion at Stellantis CRF, attended the workshop delivering the presentation “Stellantis: challenges of sustainability”, which showcased some of its initiatives and achievements related to decarbonisation, circular economy and metals materials development for a more sustainable transport and automotive industry.
In addition, the presentation included an explanation of the Fatigue4Light project, its main objectives and expected results, as well as some materials developed such as the Low Control Arm and other activities carried out within the project.
Streparava is an Italian company that produces chassis and powertrain components with a high degree of precision, supplied to the major OEMs for motorcycles, automobiles, buses, industrial and commercial vehicles.
